About the Project Manager role
- The Project Manager shall be responsible for the successful planning, coordinating and management of cost, schedule and performance of all aspects of complex engineering projects and tasks
- Serves as the technical point of contact for the Program Manager and team members on a project or task
- Directly contributes to program efforts in several areas, including task cost, schedule, and deliverables status updates
- As well as, monitoring risks, and presenting risk containment strategies to ensure proper performance of tasks necessary for efficient and effective execution of the contract
- Will utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents
What you'll do
The Level 4 Project Manager shall possess the following capabilities:
- All tasks of the Level 3 project manager not performed at Level 3 due to the size and/or complexity of the project
- Communicate issues and solutions to the broader Government management structure as requested by senior Government leaders
- Provide guidance and direct tasking for Level 0, 1, 2 and 3 project managers if any are assigned to the project
- Rapidly assemble and execute focused cross-disciplinary Government/Contractor teams to address urgent or unexpected cost, schedule, or technical program/contract issues
What you'll bring
Qualifications:
- The Level 4 Project Manager shall have a Bachelor's Degree in a Computer, Business or Math related field and fifteen (15) years of experience as a program or project manager in managing projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
- Shall have at least three (3) years of demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting
- Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 801 policies
- PMP certification, FAC-P/PM Senior Level certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 3 certification in Program Management certification is desired, although not required
